This Saturday night the New England Truck Series heads to Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, NH for the final time in 2014. Corey Coates holds a 9 point advantage in the series standings over five time champion Andy Lindeman. Coates and Lindeman each have two wins in 2014, and each have a win at Monadnock this season. They have distanced themselves from the pack with three events remaining. Third place Bert Ouellette is 23 points back, with Glen Noll 28 points behind the leader. DJ McGouran rounds out the top 5 with 9 of 12 events completed.

Three years ago, the New England Truck Series lost its biggest fan with the passing of Mrs. Shirley Lindeman. Shirley would travel NETS events to cheer on her son, but also to cheer on all the competitors. She always made a point to go see each driver to wish them good luck before the feature events and then go see them after the races were done to see how they did and comfort them if they had a bad night. It was a small gesture of kindness on her part, it meant more to the other drivers then she ever realized.

The checkered flags, trophies, and seasons still go by, but Shirley’s absence is still felt at each NETS event. Saturday night we honor her memory at Monadnock Speedway with the third Shirley Lindeman Memorial Trophy Race.
Andy Lindeman, Harold & Cindy Burdick, and the entire Cindy Burdick Motorsports #151 Team are proud sponsors of the event.
