Officials from Beech Ridge Motor Speedway (ME), the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) announced Thursday afternoon that New England 500 Weekend has been condensed to a one-day show due to a poor weather forecast.  The event will now take place on Saturday, September 17 with qualifying and twin 150-lap races being held for each series.

Originally, Saturday’s schedule included only qualifying for each divisions plus twin 50s for the Valenti Modified Racing Series.  On Sunday, the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models were scheduled to go 300 laps in the annual PASS 300 and the American-Canadian Tour had 200 laps of racing on tap for their Fall Foliage race.  Each race has now been condensed to 150 laps in order to allow race fans to watch all events in a reasonable time frame.

Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday and will include qualifying heats and consolation races (if needed) for all divisions.  The PASS Modifeds and Sport Series will also join PASS, ACT and VMRS for an action-packed day of racing.

Grandstand tickets will be only $30 for the two-in-one event, $10 for kids ages 6-12. Pit area tickets will be $40.
