As the June racing schedule gets all NASCAR tracks into full swing there continues to be a log jam atop the Whelen All American Series national point standings.  Drivers from the left coast, southeast and northeast are in the top five which will have eyes looking over the region lines in order to gain points each week.

Once again Matt Bowling sits on top of the point standings after he had to search for a place to race. His travels brought him to East Carolina Speedway his fifth different track this season.  Bowling picked up a win and a third to pad his point lead.

Jumping to second was Trevor Huddleston who posted finishes of second and fourth to lead frog Chase Purdy who struggles with two finishes out of the top five.

Fourth sits the Northeast early season big hope that in Keith Rocco.  Despite only one start he will be on target for three starts in his region and full car fields are expected.

Fifth in points is Trey Gibson who will have to seek another track to gain points as his two will be idle for a few weeks.
