Third generation NASCAR driver, Jesse Little, returns to Langley Speedway aiming for consecutive top-10 runs on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.

Fresh off a solid sixth place effort at Five Flags Speedway, Little's NASCAR Technical Institute Chevrolet has been stout on the short tracks of the K&N East and West series.

"Last weekend we knew that our car would be running up front," Little said. "Our short-track program has been strong this season and I expect to continue that on Saturday. When this team has that kind of confidence in what (crew chief) Kris (Bowen) puts underneath me we're sure of our ability to be a threat."

Little welcomes a return to Langley Speedway as it got his 2013 march towards the season's Sunoco Rookie of the Year title underway.

"We came out of Langley last year with a third-place finish as we rallied from a 14th place starting position. It was my first trip to the track and I really got into a groove as the race went on that night. With something to look back on for set-up notes we're going to be looking to be strong right off the trailer," Little noted.

The strong run earned Little the Coca-Cola Move of the Race for advancing the most positions in the event and set in motion a string of top-10 finishes en route to a top-10 points position in the season's chase for the championship.

"Langley really boosted our season and to have all of that come together again this year when this race wraps up would be nice. I like the track because it put a lot on the driver to get the car around its tight corners. To be successful at Langley requires patience over the course of the first 150 laps then get after it for the final 25," he explained.

Having set-up notes from last year also helps when the team's leader has been focused on other duties the last few days, the 17-year old added.

"Kris and his wife Amanda welcomed their daughter Parker to the world on Father's Day so he's been a little busy with his family. It's a great moment for him, Amanda and their family and we here at Team Little Racing are proud to be supporters of them in this new journey.

"I'm working in the shop with the team and we're well prepared to load the car and head to Langley with everything Kris asked us to do get ready for the weekend."
