Terry Evans, a long time competitor at South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach Speedway, passed away on Wednesday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

 

Evans and fellow MBS driver Justin Milliken were injured in the accident when they were leaving Myrtle Beach Speedway on July 21st. Milliken was discharged from the hospital earlier this week.

 

Evans was 36 years old. He is survived by his wife, Cassie Evans, his father “Bimbo” and his mother, Annette, as well as sister, Tara.

 

The North Carolina native was leading the points in the Super Truck division with one victory this season. He was also racing part time in the Late Model Stock Car division as well.

 

Earlier this week Myrtle Beach Speedway set up a GoFundMe page to help the Evans family deal with their expenses. The GoFundMe page can be found here.
