(Gleason, WI) Justin Mondeik has had a career-season in 2020, setting the bar for Super Late Model competition in the upper-Midwest. Mondeik has won a staggering 14 of 25 Features at his three home tracks this season; including five at both Norway Speedway and State Park Speedway, and four at Golden Sands Speedway.

Since making his World Series of Asphalt debut back in February, Mondeik has an average finish of 4.48 in 42 Features, with only one finish outside of the Top-10. Mondeik’s 42-Features have had an average field of eighteen cars, at ten different tracks located in four states.

Carrying momentum from winning the TUNDRA Super Late Models Finale and Combine Championship this past weekend at Golden Sands Speedway, Mondeik has scheduled three of his remaining four races at Oktoberfest. “We are excited to go back to LAX (La Crosse, WI) for sure,” said a confident Mondeik. “Oktoberfest is highlighted every year on our calendar because of the festivities, event history, and (of course) the Fall scenery here in Wisconsin.”

Slated to race the Futures race on Thursday, Trickle 99 on Friday, and the ARCA Midwest Tour events over the weekend, it will be a busy four days for Justin’s family-owned race team. “We have been able to unload with good speed at all of the tracks we’ve traveled to this year, so I am confident in our preparation. We will have a solid piece for Thursday night.”

“We need to stay clean and continue to find small gains each day in order to be a factor in the 200-lap ARCA race on Sunday,” he added.
