Modified Racers Chasing the Green Sunday at Evergreen

This weekend, King of the Green returns to Evergreen Raceway Park for an action-packed weekend of racing at the Drums, Pennsylvania 1/3-mile bullring.  The event is headlined by a $4,000-to-win Tour-type Modified feature, with an entry list 30 cars strong for the race.


The entry list for the 125 lap race boasts some of the heavy hitters in Modified racing, including Matt Hirschman, Chuck Hossfeld and Daren Scherer.  Some of those touring stars will be going up against local drivers who have won at Evergreen earlier in 2019, including Austin Beers, Roger Coss and Brian DeFebo.  A full entry list can be viewed below.


Along with the Tour Modifieds, there will be features for Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Legends and Bandoleros.  Open practice will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, with racing beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 20.
