The 2016 Miss Snowball Derby pageant is set to reach its biggest audience ever with the competition being broadcast live for the first time ever on Speed51.com. With the contest being open to contestants from all over the country, a large turnout is expected to compete on November 17 for the right to be called Miss Snowball Derby 2016.
“We are excited about the pageant this year having Speed 51 broadcast it. We had a wonderful group of beautiful pageant contestants last year and we are looking forward to the same thing this year,” said Pat Bryant of Five Flags Speedway.
With the pageant set to reach far beyond the City of Pensacola and the entire Gulf region, this is a chance for ladies from all across the country to represent their hometown as well as their love for short track racing.
This year’s contest will once again be held at Tracy Goodsen’s Beef ‘O Brady’s in downtown Pensacola and is open to ladies 18 years or older, regardless of how far they might need to travel. As long as they are in Pensacola for the pageant November 17 and Snowball Derby weekend November 30-December 4, they are eligible for the competition.
The person chosen as Miss Snowball Derby will be expected to represent Five Flags Speedway at as many Snowball Derby-related functions as possible. In addition, Miss Snowball Derby will be on hand for all Victory Lane photos, pre-race ceremonies and occasional fan interaction during the course of the weekend.
