Millbridge Speedway Hosting First-Ever Midget Event

After an incredibly successful TRD Keith Kunz Motorsports Giveback Classic, Millbridge Speedway is excited to announce its next major event, bringing Midgets to the Salisbury, North Carolina facility for the first time ever.

The DIAEDGE Carolina Midget Showdown will take place Saturday and Sunday, December 12-13, 2020 at the 1/6-mile oval.  The event will feature two nights of Midget racing, paying $3,000 to win on Saturday, December 12 and $5,000 to win on Sunday, December 13.

“It is incredibly exciting to add the DIAEDGE Carolina Midget Showdown to our racing schedule,” said Millbridge Speedway co-owner Ashly Burnett.  “Especially after the success of our Micro Sprint events in 2020, this was the next big step.

“We are always looking to raise the bar here at Millbridge Speedway,” added Burnett.  “Whether it’s with facilities, the racing surface, or marquee events, we are constantly striving for bigger and better.  This should be an incredible event, and one our fans will be ecstatic to see.”

Entries for the DIAEDGE Carolina Midget Showdown will open on Wednesday, November 11.  More details regarding this inaugural event will be forthcoming from Millbridge Speedway.

Potential sponsors interested in being a part of all of the excitement during the DIAEDGE Carolina Midget Showdown are encouraged to contact Millbridge Speedway.
