Millbridge Speedway has secured sponsorship for its premier event, the Speed51 Open. QRC, of Red Bluff, California, will be the title sponsor, and HMS Motorsport, of Mooresville, North Carolina, will be the presenting sponsor of the QRC Speed51 Open presented by HMS Motorsport at Millbridge Speedway, the highest paying Outlaw Kart event in America.
The QRC Speed51 Open presented by HMS Motorsport, scheduled for May 22-23 at Millbridge Speedway, a 1/6-mile clay oval just outside of Mooresville, will pay $5,151 to the race winner.
QRC has been a leader in Outlaw Kart manufacturing since its inception in 1985. HMS Motorsport is the industry’s leading safety equipment supplier to professional, amateur and beginner drivers.

The QRC Speed51 Open will have a network television airing on MAVTV. The MAVTV broadcast will be produced by Speed51 TV, the broadcasting arm of Speed51.com. The MAVTV production will be different from the live stream of the event that will air on speed51.com.
The event will also be available live to those that cannot make it to the prestigious race via a live stream on Speed51.com.

Millbridge Speedway has become the home of Outlaw Kart racing in North Carolina. Millbridge Speedway has seen drivers from all sorts of disciplines race at the track. Those drivers include Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series stars Kyle Larson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., two-time Chili Bowl Midget Nationals champion Christopher Bell, former USAC National Midgets champion Tanner Thorson and more.
The QRC Speed51 Open presented by HMS Motorsport annually sees more than 50 drivers try to qualify for the event. One year ago, it was Nick Hoffman who took home the big check and the trophy.
