Erik Jones is in the middle of a busy weekend. He finished 11th last night in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Before the race, they had a mini ceremony as he was given his high school diploma at about the same time the graduation ceremony was actually going on. He traveled to Milwaukee this morning and this is the first time he has been back in an Super Late Model since winning the Snowball Derby in December.

Joey Mucciacciaro told us that his deal to drive the CNH Fabricating/Pathfinder Chassis house car was recently put together when he learned that many consider this race as a Daytona 500 for many Midwest short track racers. Known as Joey Mooch, he is excited to be at The Milwaukee Mile this weekend. This is the largest track he has ever raced on in his young career. He is hoping to get more rides this year.

We spoke to Stephen Naase who is experiencing the Milwaukee Mile for the first time in his career. He said he is grateful for the practice today and tomorrow so he can get used to driving around the big flat mile oval.
