Grundy County Speedway – The season is complete at Grundy County.


Anderson Speedway – Anderson’s Josh Poore scored his fifth consecutive victory in Street Stock competition at Anderson Speedway, giving him six feature wins for the year.  Kevin Harmon won the Compact feature event.   Late Models and Figure-8’s headline this Saturday’s action at the quarter-mile track located less than an hour northeast of Indianapolis.

Angola Motor Speedway – Jeremy Wallen won the the Late Model Sportsman division over point leader Tommy Cook.  Wallen did get the job done, as he has done so many times in the Modified division.  Wallen leads the points and in the Mods going into the season championship night, this Saturday, September 19th at the Northeast, Indiana facility.

Illiana Motor Speedway – The Bettenhausen Memorial was washed out this past Saturday and is rescheduled for this Saturday, September 19th at the northwest Indiana racetrack.  It is the 54th annual version of the event which will feature defending champion of the event, Brian Campbell.

New Paris Speedway –  The 23rd Annual End of Season Blowout will take place this weekend (September 18-20).  Friday will be “move-in day” hot laps from 5-8pm. Saturday will have hot laps, qualifying, heat races and will be capped off by the Sportsman Late Models Season Championship feature.  Sunday will highlight features for both the V8 and 4-cylinder divisions starting at 1pm.

Salem Speedway fueled by the Hoosier Lottery – The ARCA Racing Series will make its 98th appearance on the high-banked half-mile on Saturday, September 19th.  Alabama’s Grant Enfinger leads the series standings and is its most recent winner.

South Bend Motor Speedway – A successful season at the Northwest Indiana race track is completed.

Winchester Speedway – Officials at the fames high-banks are now preparing for the 44th annual Winchester 400 weekend on October 9 – 11.  The three-day event will feature Super Late Model action of the CRA Super Series, the Pro Late Models of the JEGS All Stars Tour, Late Models Sportsman, Streets Stocks, Top Speed Modifieds and a lot more.  Go to for more information.


Hawkeye Downs Speedway – The season is now complete at the only pavement facility in Iowa.


Auto City Speedway – The season is complete at the ultra-quick 4/10’s of a mile track.

Berlin Raceway – The western Michigan facility has brought in dirt for the Showdown on Dirt, which will feature the World of Outlaws Late Model Series this Friday and Saturday, September 18-19.

Flat Rock Speedway – Troy Brehmer worked his way back into contention after going a lap down early and pulled off a comeback win for the $1,000 top prize in the Enduro Series 250-lap event.  Gregory Rudzik took the Legends contest, while Zach Parish won the Bandolero feature event.  Robb Remick’s third place run cemented the 2015 Enduro title.

Kalamazoo Speedway – It was the super popular “Call of the Wild” event Saturday at Kzoo.  12-time Outlaw Late Model champion Andy Bozell won the fifty-lap “Call of the Wild” title, but lost his world record to second place finishing Mike Shewchuk, who ran a lap of 9.924 seconds at 136.034mph at the 3/8 of a mile track.  Outlaw Super Late Model champion Mike “Bubba” Brooks finished third ahead of Jeff Bozell and Jim Bailey.

Norway Speedway – Norway Speedway’s 2015 season is now complete.

Onaway Speedway – It was the season-ending event for the track this past Saturday, but as of Tuesday morning, results still could not be found.

Owosso Speedway – The central Michigan racetrack cancelled its program this past weekend, but this Saturday it will hold its final points event of the season.  Lacie Donnert and Blake Childers lead the title fight in the Modifieds and Late Models respectively.

Springport Motor Speedway – This Saturday The Michigan Cup races will close the season for this central Michigan track.  The CRA / JEGS All Stars Tour will invade the facility with support from local classes.  We could not find the championship standings on the track’s website nor published reports.


Elko Speedway – The only paved track in Minnesota held an Eve of Destruction this past weekend to set itself up for its season championship night this Saturday, September 19th for the Late Models and Big 8 Series. The Goede brothers, Jacob and Matt, lead the Late Model standings while  Chris Marek has a stronghold on the Big 8 points.


I-44 – JC Newell beat Kyle Donahue in the Late Model feature this past weekend at the sole paved track in the Show-Me-State.  Stephen Counterman won the Modified main event.  Newell (Late Models) and Tim Swearengin (Modifieds) lead the points heading into the final slate of racing this Saturday.  Late Models will compete in the “Salute to 75” feature honoring five-time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series champion Larry Phillips.


Columbus Motor Speedway – Kyle Jones finished second in the race, but won the season-long championship Saturday night at Columbus after and incident with point rival Chad Pendleton sent the latter driver to the rear of the field.  Pendleton parked his car in the turn and walked away in frustration.  Kyle Purvis won the race with Cody Robinson in second.  Brian Campbell won the CRA Super Series Bud St. Amant Memorial 125 Sunday at the western Ohio racetrack.

Lorain County Speedway – The Mod Mania North Coast Modified Challenge 50-lap feature was the main event this past weekend with current Modified points leader Kenny Phillips taking the feature win. Other feature winners tonight were Jeff Fade Jr. (Grand Nationals) and Michael Parks (Chargers).  Championship night is this Saturday.

Midvale Speedway – Cold and poor weather conditions canceled last weekend’s events at Midvale.  This Saturday the season championships will be decided.  Bubba Smith has the Late Model championship wrapped up, as does Bob Sibila Jr. in the Modifieds.  Colton Ritchey leads Kyle Grove by eight points in the Street Stock division.

Sandusky Speedway – The season titles are on the line this Saturday, September 19th.  Kenny Sharp leads the Modified standings by 137-markers.    The MSA Super Modifieds, Ohio Stocks, Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks are also on the card.

Toledo Speedway – Hometown favorite Jimmy McCune and A.J. Lesiecki were the victors in Saturday’s Fastest Short Track Show in the World at Toledo Speedway.  The all-open wheel race, which was rescheduled from a June 12 rain-out to Friday night, again fell to the weather, forcing the event to Saturday night.  This Saturday, September 19 is the 27th annual Glass City 200 for the Outlaw Late Models.


Dells Raceway Park – Jeff Storm won the Super Late Model finale at the Dells Raceway Park.  Tim Schendel is the 2015 SLM track champ.  In Late Models, Rich Schumann Jr. won the final race of the year and the title.  Other champs include Scott Luck (Sportsman), John Handeland (Outlaw Bandit), James Junket (Bandi) and Vince Bartolotta (Legends Cars).  The season for the track is now complete.

Golden Sands Speedway – The season at Golden Sands is completed.

Jefferson Speedway – Wisconsin’s Action Track wrapped up its points championships last weekend. Casey Johnson put the finishing touches on his third Late Model track championship on Saturday night at Jefferson Speedway.  While Johnson wrapped up the title, it was Luke Westenberg who captured the 60-lap Late Model feature.  The win was Westenberg’s first feature victory of the season. This Friday and Saturday the track will hold the 35th annual Wisconsin State Championships.

La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway – La Crosse had an Eve of Destruction this past Saturday night.  The season will conclude on October 8 – 11 with the 46th Oktoberfest Race Weekend.

Madison International Speedway – The season is compete at Wisconsin’s capital track.

Marshfield Speedway – The Fall Shootout concluded the racing season at Marshfield Speedway.  Drivers from four states competed in the Super Late Model finale, with Ernie Schlough picking up his first win in the division.  He beat out Dan Lensing and rookie Derek Kraus.  Brian Weinfurter won the Super Stock feature and Kurtis Wosick won his first event in Pure Stock competition.

Slinger Speedway – The season is now complete at the high-banked racetrack.

State Park Speedway – Racing is completed at State Park Speedway for the season, except for a 300-lap, $5000 to win Enduro on Saturday, October 24.

Wisconsin International Raceway – The schedule for 2016 is now complete at the five-turn oval.
