The race season is winding down in the Midwest, but some tracks still saw action over the weekend.  We’ve compiled the results to all the pavement tracks in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Iowa, Ohio, Minnesota and Wisconsin in this week’s Midwest Round-Up.

 

ILLINOIS

Grundy County Speedway – The season is complete at Grundy County.

 

INDIANA

Anderson Speedway – Late Models had the weekend off at Anderson Speedway, but champions were crowned in three divisions.  Matt Tharp picked up his first feature win of the year to cap off his season championship in the Marcum Welding Pro Compact division, John Robbins claimed the championship in the Thunder Roadster division and Jeff Swinford set a new track record during qualifying and picked up his ninth win in 10 races to grab the Harts Auto Figure 8 title.  Anderson will crown season champions for the Late Model, Street Stock and Compact Touring Series divisions Saturday, October 3.

 

Angola Motor Speedway – The 2015 race season is complete at Angola Motor Speedway.

 

Illiana Motor Speedway – Illiana Motor Speedway has completed its 2015 race season.

 

New Paris Speedway – New Paris Speedway’s 2015 race season is complete.

 

Salem Speedway – Salem Speedway took last weekend off before its final two events of the year.  This Sunday they host a 100-lap Enduro before ending the season with the Smoker Friendly Discount Tobacco Halloween 200 and 27th Annual 5,000 to win Lucas Oil Great American Stock Classic.

 

South Bend Motor Speedway – A successful season at the Northwest Indiana race track is completed.

 

Winchester Speedway – Officials at the famed high-banks are now preparing for the 44th annual Winchester 400 weekend on October 9-11.  The three-day event will feature Super Late Model action of the CRA Super Series, the Pro Late Models of the JEGS All Stars Tour, Late Models Sportsman, Streets Stocks, Top Speed Modifieds and a lot more.  Go to winchesterspeedway.com for more information.

 

IOWA

Hawkeye Downs Speedway – The season is now complete at the only pavement facility in Iowa.

 

MICHIGAN

Auto City Speedway – The season is complete at the ultra-quick 4/10’s of a mile track.

 

Berlin Raceway – Berlin Raceway hosted its final race of the season last Saturday night.  Changed over to dirt, the track welcomed the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars and it was none other than Donny Schatz picking up the win. Daryn Pitman finished second and Logan Schuchart third.

 

Flat Rock Speedway – The 2015 season is complete at Flat Rock.

 

Kalamazoo Speedway – It’s almost time for the Super Show Nationals at Kalamazoo Speedway.  Things get kicked off on Friday, October 1 and go into Sunday when they run the feature events.  There will be four classes of racing again this year as each driver will look to best their division.

 

Norway Speedway – Norway Speedway’s 2015 season is now complete.

 

Onaway Speedway – The 2015 season is complete.

 

Owosso Speedway – It was the final race of the year at Owosso Speedway.  Jason Felver won the 50-lap Pro Late Model feature.  Tony Hoose, Juston Holloway, Adam Rowe and Josh Hahn rounded out the top five.  Nick Clemens came out on top of the Modified 50-lap feature.  Trei Deuble second, Blake Rowe third, Jon McNett fourth and Alex Donnert fifth.

 

Springport Motor Speedway –The 2015 season has come to an end at the Michigan track.

 

MINNESOTA

Elko Speedway – The track hosted the ARCA Midwest Tour on Saturday for the Thunderstruck 93.  It was a photo finish as Ty Majeski edged 2015 Elko Speedway point champion Jacob Goede at the line.  Elko Speedway’s race season is complete.  They host an Eve of Destruction this Saturday.

 

MISSOURI

I-44 –The 2015 I-44 race season is complete.

 

OHIO

Columbus Motor Speedway – The 2015 season is complete.

 

Lorain County Speedway – Lorain County Speedway hosts the 26th Annual Cavalcade Festival of Speedway this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Friday serves as a tech and tune day with qualifying and preliminary events on Saturday and racing on Sunday.  Modifieds, Late Models, SprintsFront Wheel Drive  and Street Stocks will all be racing.

 

Midvale Speedway –Midvale Speedway has concluded its 2015 race season.

 

Sandusky Speedway – Sandusky Speedway was in action last weekend, but results can not be found.

 

Toledo Speedway – 2015 season at Toledo Speedway is now in the record books. The 2016 schedule is expected to be released during the holiday season.

 

WISCONSIN

Dells Raceway Park – The season for the track is now complete.

 

Golden Sands Speedway – The season at Golden Sands is completed.

 

Jefferson Speedway – Jefferson Speedway has concluded its 2015 racing campaign.

 

La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway – The season will conclude on October 8-11 with the 46th Oktoberfest Race Weekend. 17 divisions will race over the four day event.

 

Madison International Speedway – The season is complete at Wisconsin’s capital track.

 

Marshfield Speedway – Marshfield Speedway’s 2015 season is complete.

 

Slinger Speedway – The season is now complete at the high-banked racetrack.

 

State Park Speedway – Racing is completed at State Park Speedway for the season, except for a 300-lap, $5000 to win Enduro on Saturday, October 24.

 

Wisconsin International Raceway – The schedule for 2015 is now complete at the five-turn oval.
