As seen live on 51 TV’s pay-per-view coverage of the 35th Annual SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals, the Slinger Late Model division had a wild 35-lap feature race last Tuesday night prior to the Super Late Model main event.
With three laps to go, Alex Prunty (11) and Danny Church (9) were battling for the lead when the two made contact in turn three. This caused the two to drift high in four allowing third place runner Zack Riddle (14) to get a run to the inside making a three-wide battle.
Photographer Doris Greysen provided this sequence of photos of what happened next as Prunty and Church went for a wild ride.
Riddle kept going, but was passed by Stephen Scheel on the restart and it was Scheel getting the win.
A replay of the Slinger Nationals will be available Wednesday on Speed51.com. Watch for details on how you can watch a preview of this exciting event!
