Mooresville, N.C.-  2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship team Mason Mitchell Motorsports will field two entries for the season opening race at the famed Daytona International Speedway. 2014 Scott Rookie of The Year Austin Wayne Self will drive the No. 98 AM Technical Solutions Ford, while 2014 ARCA champion Mason Mitchell will pilot the No. 78 MMM Ford.

“This is a huge accomplishment for our team” Mitchell stated. “Our goal from the beginning was to be a multi-car team that can win races and win championships. This is the first step in that process.”

Mitchell decided to form his own team a little over two months prior to the start of the 2014 season. The team made their highly anticipated ARCA debut at Daytona starting sixth and finishing seventh. The result proved that MMM was going to be a serious contender.

“Having a teammate in the race is going to be huge, at least I have one friend on the track” Mitchell joked. “I want to see us both have a shot at the win and I believe that we can do that. Daytona is the only thing on my mind, it’s the only thing I have lined up so far and I am focused on winning.”

The Lucas Oil 200 presented by AutoZone at Daytona International Speedway will be live on Fox Sports 1 Saturday, February 14th at 4:15 pm ET. will have live timing and scoring for all on-track activity from Daytona.
