(Mooresville, N.C.) Last weekend might have been Mason Mitchell’s most important weekend in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards finishing runner-up to Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Larson. The finish was Mitchell’s fourth runner-up in the last nine races.

This weekend Mitchell and Mason Mitchell Motorsports turn their attention to the fastest track on the ARCA schedule the Michigan International Speedway in pursuit of their first career victory.

Mason Mitchell Quotes

“Last weekend was big for everyone at MMM to be able to contend with a Sprint Cup driver and finish second. We’re bringing the same car this weekend to Michigan, and look to seal the deal and pick up our first victory.”

“Michigan is a very fast track, since the repave a few years ago the groove is in the middle of the track and can be difficult to pass. Keeping track position is going to be key Friday.”
