Get out your calendar and circle this date: Saturday, September 26.  If you’re a short track racing fan you won’t want to miss it.  It’s the 2015 Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco season finale at the historic Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.  If you’re near the area, make plans to be sitting in the grandstands on Saturday night.  But if you’re not in the area, plan on popping a bag of popcorn and enjoying the wheel-to-wheel Super Late Model action for free on 51 TV’s live online broadcast presented by PFC Brakes.


Yes, you read that correctly.  For the first time in Southern Super Series history, race fans all over the world will be able to watch short track racing stars such as Bubba Pollard, Ross Kenseth and Harrison Burton for absolutely no cost thanks to the support from the fine folks at PFC Brakes.

150 laps is in store for the Southern Super Series Super Late Models in what many consider to be a big test for the 48th Annual Snowball Derby on December 6 at Five Flags.


Two championships will also be up for grabs on Saturday night as both the 2015 Southern Super Series champion and 2015 Blizzard Series champion will be crowned on the live 51 TV broadcast.  Casey Smith leads Donnie Wilson by 62 points heading into the SSS season finale, while Casey Roderick leads Smith by nine and Wilson by 16 in the Blizzard Series standings.


In addition to the live broadcast of the 150-lap Southern Super Series finale, race fans will also be able to watch the 20-lap Bomber feature, 35-lap Pro Truck feature and 25-lap Sportsman feature.
