Since its founding in 1983, FK Rod Ends has become an industry leader in, you guessed it, rod ends and bearings in several markets, including short track racing. The Southington, Connecticut based company has a well-established foot print across the nation in motorsports, offering an ever-evolving assortment of quality products.
Just a few weeks ago at the Performance Racing Industry’s annual big show in Indianapolis, FK Rod Ends was on hand to show off their top of the line products, including those meant for Late Model cars.
“The JMX Series is our primary series for those cars. It’s an alloy body, alloy race, and alloy ball, with a PTFE liner,” said Jay Langley of FK Rod Ends. “It should have good wear characteristics, be strong, and maintain integrity throughout your road course or your circle track.”
Also on display were more affordable options, which are favorites for a lot of dirt teams who are always enduring some the greatest wear and tear in the racing world.
“We have some less expensive product that are CM Series and CMX, that is used in dirt. We also have some aluminum stuff that is used where weight is an issue. That stuff will solve your issues and allow you to win races.”
Overall, the appearance at PRI signified FK Rod Ends’ commitment to not just serving the short track ranks, but even giving back to them. Programs, such as the FK Rod Ends Driver of the Month presented right here on Speed51.com, are set to return in 2020.
“We love to give back; we love to help out people that help us out. We love to create a product and learn from the racers what is needed.”
