One of the most prestigious early-season Super Late Model events will be showcased to a national audience again in 2019.  Speed51 and South Alabama Speedway have teamed up to offer race fans a live pay-per-view broadcast of the 43rd Annual Rattler 250, the season opener for the Southern Super Series.

The Rattler produced one of the great finishes of the 2018 season, and the $12,000 check on the line for the winner this year should ensure another strong field and exciting finish this year. Some of the biggest names in Super Late Model racing are already entered for the event, including Bubba Pollard, Donnie Wilson, Harrison Burton and Stephen Nasse.

Fans unable to make the trip to Opp, Alabama to witness The Rattler in person can purchase a live video ticket to watch the action on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17.

“The Rattler is an exciting event steeped in history,” said Speed51 Southeast Editor Zach Evans.  “With the intrigue of starting the new Southern Super Series season, the on-track action which always delivers, and the post-race tradition of the winner kissing the rattlesnake in victory lane, it’s always a memorable race, and we are proud to bring coverage of the race to fans again in 2019.”

Saturday’s action, including the Pro Late Model Rattler 125 and Super Late Model qualifying, is available for $19.99.  Sunday’s Rattler 250 for the Southern Super Series Super Late Models is $24.99.

A two-day ticket is available, allowing fans to watch both days for $34.99, a savings of $10 on the weekend.  Fans can save even more money if they are yearly premium members of the Speed51 Network, which receive a 10% discount on pay-per-view purchases.

The live video stream on Speed51 will be a one-camera broadcast featuring audio from the track’s public address system.
