The Road to the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway (FL) will begin on Friday, March 29 with the opening round of the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series.  Speed51.com and Five Flags Speedway have teamed up once again to offer fans the opportunity watch the race via a live pay-per-view broadcast.

In addition to being the opening race of the four-race Super Late Model series held at Five Flags, the race will also serve as the second event of the Southern Super Series season.  The race holds extra importance as the top driver in the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series standings at the end of the year will receive a provisional for the Snowball Derby in December.

With the race being one of only four Super Late Model tracks held at the track prior to the prestigious Snowball Derby, many of the nation's top Super Late Model stars are expected to contend for the victory.  Drivers expected to be in competition include defending Blizzard Series champion Casey Roderick, 11-time Blizzard Series winner Bubba Pollard and CRA SpeedFest winner Connor Okrzesik.
