The ground in Lancaster, New York will be shaking Thursday night, June 30 as the ground-pounding Modifieds from the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series make their way to Lancaster National Speedway (NY) for the Ol’ Boy Cup 60.  While the fans at the track enjoy the action-packed racing, race fans worldwide will also be able to watch the race live.

 

Speed51.com and Lancaster National Speedway officials recently announced that the Ol’ Boy Cup 60 will be broadcast live on Speed51 TV.

51TV RoC Lancaster Ol Boy 2016The live video stream will begin at 7 p.m. ET and will be highlighted by the 60-lap feature for the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified series.  The Advance Auto Parts Street Stocks, Roaming Buffalo 4-Cylinders and NYPA TQ Midgets will also be featured on the live broadcast.

 

Dave Buchanan, the voice of Lancaster National Speedway, and Race of Champions Modified Series announcer Charlie Langlois will have the call in the booth.

 

The live production will consist of a one-camera feed that will bring fans the most exciting action from each race.

 

The “Ol’ Boy Cup 60” will be the seventh event of the season for the Race of Champions Modified Series. Current series points leader, Patrick Emerling, won the Queen City Clash 75 at Lancaster on May 21. He has also won three Sunoco Sportsman features at Lancaster, so far, in 2016.

 

Defending “Ol’ Boy Cup 60” winner Chuck Hossfeld is currently second in the RoC Modified Series standings. Hossfeld finished second to Emerling in the Queen City Clash back in May.  Other drivers expected to compete include Modified standout Matt Hirschman, New York driver Jimmy Zacharias, Darren Scherer and a whole lot more.
