Live Broadcast Announced for Lake View’s Season Opener

Racing returns to Lake View Motor Speedway (SC) on Saturday night, with five divisions of competition scheduled for the season-opening event.  While fans will not be allowed to attend the event due to current restrictions on large gatherings, they can watch live for just $10 on Speed51.

Speed51 will provide a live, pay-per-view broadcast of Saturday’s event, headlined by the Mid-East Modified Tour Coastal Division.  A $10 video ticket will allow fans to watch that division, along with Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks, Front-Wheel-Drive Sport Compacts, Mod-Lites and Legends cars.

“We are so excited to finally get the 2020 season underway at Lake View,” said Lake View Motor Speedway owner Scott Tripp in a press release announcing the event. “We have tried for weeks to make this happen and we are so glad to have Jason Wall and the folks with the Mid-East Modified Tour join us. We are looking forward to having the fans packed in the stands as soon as possible and we feel like we are getting closer every day.”

The historic South Carolina track is celebrating its 40th Anniversary season in 2020, starting with Saturday’s event.  While fans will not be able to attend, a worldwide audience will be able to watch the race on Speed51 for just $10.

Pay-per-view tickets sold for the event will help pay the purse for racer’s competing in the crowd-less event.
