LFR Chassis announced today that Jeff Fultz and Ryan Stone have joined the racecar chassis manufacturer to further build the modified and late model divisions.

LFR Chassis owner Rob Fuller has named Jeff Fultz Late Model Division Director and Ryan Stone the Modified Division Director.

“Jeff is about the biggest name in late models in our area,” said Fuller. “He has won races and championships recently as a driver and crew chief. Ryan is a very well liked guy and very intelligent. He has won a bunch of modified races as well.”

“Jeff and Ryan are at the top of their game and are well-respected in their divisions,” continued Fuller. “Employees are key to any business success and I’m very happy these guys are now under the LFR Chassis banner.”

Fultz has 30 years of experience in racing as a driver, car chief and builder. He has 10 championships to his name and over 250 wins throughout his career. Joining LFR Chassis he will be leading the building and development of all late model race cars.

Working at Penske, DEI and having his own development team for over 10 years, Fultz brings a wealth of knowledge to LFR Chassis. He is a three-time champion and all time wins leader in the NASCAR All Pro Series.

“I’m excited to join Rob and Tony at LFR Chassis,” said Fultz. “There was so many things I wanted to do at my place but didn’t have the bandwidth to get it done. Here, I’m teaming up with some of the best in the business and I’m really looking forward to reaching our goals.”

Stone is fresh off a fourth place championship finish in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as Ron Silk’s crew chief in 2014. He has been racing for 18 years and has a decade of experience in modified racing as a driver, car chief and crew chief.

Stone won the 2011 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship with Silk and has worked with Mike Smeriglio, David Hill and Eddie Partridge’s NWMT teams gaining valuable knowledge over the past 10 years.

“Rob’s company was making a lot of noise in the modifieds over the past 6-8 months and I got to know him better at the end of the race season,” said Stone. “I came down to North Carolina and checked out the shop and met the guys and got a better understanding of Rob’s vision. There’s a lot of talent here with Tony Eury Jr. and Jeff Fultz and a great bunch of fabricators and I really wanted to be a part of that.”

“My role will be directing the fabricators to build the cars to the high standards and meeting deadlines,” continued Stone. “I’ll also be utilizing my background to help customers get the best performance they can out of these great cars.”
