Lake View & Speed51.TV Enter Multi-Year Streaming Partnership

Lake View Motor Speedway and Speed51 have entered a multi-year streaming partnership to present live racing from the South Carolina facility on Speed51.TV. The agreement will allow fans to watch numerous events from the Nichols, South Carolina track live on Speed51.TV over the course of the next three years.

“It’s exciting,” said Scott Tripp, owner of Lake View Motor Speedway.  “We have a new contract we’re going to sign with Speed51 and do some more pay-per-view, live streaming and MAVTV shows in the future.”

In 2021, the agreement will allow fans to watch touring series such as the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series, FUEL Late Model Series, Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models and more, along with local racing throughout the season.

Lake View Motor Speedway was originally built in 1979 in a corn field and became one of the most well-known dirt tracks in the Carolinas during the 1980s.  Since taking over in 2018, Scott and Sophie Tripp have worked diligently to return Lake View to its former prominence.

Along with renovations to the facility, Tripp has garnered attention for Lake View Motor Speedway thanks in part to working with Speed51 to broadcast racing from the 4/10-mile oval.

“When I took over [the race track], one of the first things I did was contact Bob Dillner to come out.  The first thing we did was walk the track, walk around the premises, and figure out where the television cameras were going to go.”

With the agreement, Speed51.TV will continue to be the “Official Video Home of Lake View Motor Speedway.” Fans will be able to watch races, highlights and more from numerous events at Lake View on Speed51.TV.

Additionally, select events at Lake View Motor Speedway will also be featured on episodes of Speed51’s Short Track America on MAVTV.
