KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Kingsport Speedway will return to action this Friday, April 22 after a two-week break.
Kres VanDyke claimed the victory in the last Late Model Stock Car feature while a major pile-up ensued behind him. VanDyke currently holds the points lead in the division by three points over Wayne Hale.
Chris Tunnell finds himself in the Street Stock division points lead after a second place and a win so far this season. Billy Byington has won both Pure 4 features this season and sits atop the championship standings. One win and a third place finish have Billy Duty currently leading the Mod 4 standings, and Brad Ball leads the Pure Street division with two wins on the season.
Headlining this Friday night’s event will be the Late Model Stock Car division for 60 laps. Street Stock, Pure 4, Mod 4, and Pure Street divisions will also be in action.
Grandstands open at 5:30 PM, qualifying gets underway at 7:00 PM, and racing begins at 8:00 PM. Adult grandstand admission is $10, and children 12-and-under are admitted free. Tier parking is available for $10 per vehicle plus admission.
