The winner of the 2019 Miss Snowball Derby Pageant will be going home with more than just a crown, sash and prestigious title. For the second year in a row, the lady lucky enough to be crowned Miss Snowball Derby will also be going home with some unique jewelry.
Jeweler’s Trade Shop in Pensacola, Florida has donated a piece of David Yurman jewelry for the winner of this year’s pageant.
But they’re not the only local jewelry business to step up for the Miss Snowball Derby Pageant, as Beasley Jewelers of Pensacola has also donated a piece of jewelry to the winner.
In addition to the winner of the Miss Snowball Derby taking home great prizes, there will be additional prizes up for grabs. Bere’s Jewelry of Pensacola has donated a pearl necklace with a bracelet and earrings that will go to Miss Congeniality for the pageant.
The Miss Snowball Derby pageant returns to the venue of Seville Quarters in historic downtown Pensacola on Thursday, November 21 to crown Miss Snowball Derby for the 52nd Annual event at Five Flags Speedway.
In addition to the beautiful David Yurman pendant that will be given to the winner of the pageant, Fast Cash ATM has put $1,000 on the line for the top-three finishers. The lucky lady crowned Miss Snowball Derby will receive $500, while second place will receive $300 and third place will receive $200. Miss Congeniality will receive a piece of fine jewelry.
Each lady participating in this year’s Miss Snowball Derby pageant will receive a gift bag as part of their prize package for partaking in the event. Included in that gift bag will be a ticket to the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby, which will take place Sunday, December 8 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.
The pageant will be highly looked forward to by competitors as they compete for the coveted title of Miss Snowball Derby.
Miss Snowball Derby’s responsibilities include representing Five Flags Speedway at as many Snowball Derby functions as possible, as well as being present for all victory lane photos, pre-race ceremonies and fan activities throughout the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby.
Miss Snowball Derby is also asked to attend as many Five Flags Speedway races as their schedule allows throughout the season in 2020.
Last year, Helena Ciappina was crowned the 2018 Miss Snowball Derby and will return this time around to crown her successor.
All women 17 years of age and older can compete to become Miss Snowball Derby 2019, and females worldwide are encouraged to enter. The young women that enter the contest have the chance to show their love of short track racing at the biggest event of the year, as well as represent their hometown.
The 2019 Miss Snowball Derby Pageant will be streamed via a free, live broadcast on Speed51.com.
