Jerico Performance Products went down to New Smyrna Speedway (FL) with their transmissions and rear ends in multiple Modifieds and Super Late Models.  Jerico left New Smyrna Speedway after a crazy nine days of racing with multiple wins and a championship in their back pocket.

The Concord, North Carolina-based company manufactured transmissions for Ryan Preece, Matt Hirschman, Justin Bonsignore and Timmy Solomito on the Tour-type Modified side and Derek Griffith on the Super Late Model side.

300x250 Jerico Performance 2017When all was said and done, Jerico captured one championship (Preece), two race wins (Preece and Hirschman), nine top-five finishes and 15 top 10 finishes.

“We were ecstatic.  We’re very happy with everything,” said Mike Sangermano, Jerico Performance Product’s owner.  “We had zero failures and everybody was extremely happy with their stuff.  Overall it was a pretty good week.  Hirschman won the last night and Ryan Preece won his race and won the championship so that was definitely good.”

Most of the Tour-type Modified races even saw Jerico Performance Products customers battling with each other on the race track.  Hirschman and Preece were side-by-side for much of the week at New Smyrna Speedway battling anywhere inside the top 10.

For many of Jerico Performance Products’ customers, the next time on the track will be at the Myrtle Beach Speedway for the 150-lap NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season opener on March 18.
