September 5, 2018 • 51 Super Select, App, Archives, Late Models, Region - Midwest, Ticker

With the inaugural Speed51 Super Select at Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) now just days away, companies continue to sign on as contingency sponsors for the first-of-its-kind Super Late Model All-Star race. Joining the long list of sponsors is Concord, North Carolina-based Jerico Performance Products who will sponsor the “Jerico Get-Up-And-Go Award.”

Jerico Performance Products has pledged $1,000 in total product certificates that will be distributed to the drivers that advance the most positions throughout each 25-lap segment. The driver that gains the most positions during the first segment will receive a $250 product certificate. The driver that gains the most positions in segment two will also receive a $250 product certificate. The driver that accomplishes this feat in the final segment will receive a $500 product certificate.

“The biggest thing is we wanted to give back to the racers that support us all year. With this race involving some of the best Super Late Model racers in the country, we felt this is something that Jerico would want to be involved in,” said Mike Sangermano of Jerico Performance Products. “With this race being basically a Super Late Model All-Star Race and the way the format for this race is set up, we know that drivers are going to be doing everything they can to advance as many positions as possible throughout each segment. We wanted to reward the drivers that make the most moves throughout each segment.”

Jerico Performance Products, based out of Concord, is a leading manufacturer for transmissions and rear-ends in Modified and Super Late Model racing. Due to its location, Jerico is in the heart of racing country and is able to service racers from all over.
