It’s Derby Day.  After two days of heavy rain showers in Pensacola, Florida, the forecast is perfect and 36 of the best Super Late Model drivers in the country are ready for the 49th Annual Snowball Derby.

 

With sunny skies above, the 300-lap Super Late Model race at Five Flags Speedway will begin at 5 p.m. CT/6 p.m. ET on Tuesday.  You can find the full starting lineup for the race by clicking here.

After two days of waiting in the rain to race, drivers are going to be eager to strap in behind the wheel to chase the Tom Dawson Trophy.  Add in the rare nighttime start and #DerbyatNight is sure to be a race no fan wants to miss.

 

Speed51.com’s live, television-style broadcast will kickoff with a pre-race show beginning at approximately 4 p.m. CT.  Prior to that, you can follow along with 51’s Trackside Now coverage beginning at 12 p.m. CT.
