Entering his 23rd year of modified racing, Chuck Hossfeld looks to build upon a career that has seen over 100 feature wins in the sport.

Hossfeld opens the 2018 season in February at one of his favorite venues, New Smyrna (FL) Speedway, for the 52nd Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.  Chuck and his team are past champions of the event.

Beyond New Smyrna, Hossfeld will compete again in the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series, where he has captured three (3) titles.  He will again visit his home track, Lancaster Speedway in suburban Buffalo, where he has won seven (7) U.S. Open races in the Modified and Sportsman classes.

Among Hossfeld’s career accomplishments are seven (7) wins on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour with car owner Bob Garbarino, including three (3) victories at New Hampshire International Speedway.   He raced in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with Roush Racing in 2001.

Hossfeld won Modified championships at Lancaster and Spencer Speedways in Western New York, and has three (3) victories at Oswego Speedway in the prestigious Race of Champions 200.  He is tied for second with Geoff Bodine in career Modified wins at Oswego at nine (9), behind the late NASCAR hall‐of‐famer Richie Evans who has 13.

Hossfeld owns and operates Jerry Gradl Motors with business partner Jerry Gradl Jr.  Away from the track, he enjoys down time at his Niagara County, New York home with wife Kelli.
