Brian Hoar completed the final leg of his four-race Late Model crown jewel tour this past weekend at Five Flags Speedway by competing in the 47th Annual Snowball Derby.  The week was one that had its highs and its lows for the Williston, Vermont native.  The eight-time American-Canadian Tour champion “had his bags packed” on Friday night prior to qualifying before turning his quickest lap of the weekend and becoming the first driver from the state of Vermont to qualify for the Snowball Derby.  On Sunday, things didn’t go exactly how he would have liked them to go but he was able to keep the car in one piece and leave Pensacola, Florida with a 20th-place finish.

Throughout the week, Hoar recapped his days at Five Flags Speedway in Speed51.com’s Derby Dairy presented by GOSSCars.com.  Below you can find his final diary, which was recorded after the checkered flag on Sunday.
