Hickory Motor Speedway will once again host racing on Saturday night, May 23, headlined by twin 40-lap features for Late Model Stock Cars. Like last Saturday when the historic venue hosted its first ever crowd-less event, Speed51 will be on hand to broadcast the action live.
Saturday’s racing program from Hickory will be available on Speed51 pay-per-view for $14.99. The pay-per-view ticket will allow fans to watch all of the racing from “The Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars” on Saturday.
The event will also feature the second round of Hickory’s Paramount Kia Big 10 Racing Challenge for Limited Late Models, a 50-lap race. Joining them will be the Super Trucks for 35 laps and the Street Stocks for 30 laps.
To help the facility’s great fans, Speed51 and Hickory Motor Speedway are offering the live pay-per-view broadcast for the event. Fans will be able to watch all five races on Saturday at Hickory for just $14.99.
“With questions of whether fans will be allowed to attend this weekend, we are not going to take anything for granted,” stated Hickory Motor Speedway general manager Kevin Piercy. “We want everyone to have an opportunity to see these five races at Hickory Motor Speedway.”
Last week, Josh Berry swept twin Late Model Stock features in Hickory’s first racing event without fans. It marked the venue’s first racing action since March 7, when 2017 track champion Ryan Millington swept twin features.
