Marne, MI — A hearty crowd was on hand for 80’s Night at The New Berlin Raceway and Entertainment Complex. 80’s Tunes blasted all night long on a beautiful Saturday in afternoon and evening in West Michigan!

And while we’re talking blasting, that’s exactly what Ryan Hamm did to the competition. Hamm not only won his heat races in both the Kalamazoo Vapor 4 Cyl and the Model Coverall Modifieds, but was also able to pull of the same feat in feature races in both divisions! Hamm jumped from car to car quickly, got strapped in and got to work. It was his night, and Hamm took home 4 checkered flags on what turned out to be a near perfect evening for Ryan and crew!

The Enterprise Iron and Metal Sportsman featured it’s usual solid group of over 15 cars. The Racing was wild and wooly all night from 2nd on back, but the #26 of Brian Thome was able to lead almost every lap, bagging his first win of the season.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series Power by JEGS made its debut for the 2014 season at Berlin Raceway with a strong field of 23 cars, including Ross Kenseth, Travis Braden and Terry Senneker in a freshly built machine. The race had only one yellow flag and Brian Campbell, sporting the familiar #47 held off a late race charge by Senneker It would be Campbell’s 5th win in the ARCA/CRA Super series and his 2nd at Berlin so far for the year.
