This coming weekend is shaping up to be an action-packed time for Super Late Model racing in America and now fans across the globe can watch it on On Monday, and Greenville Pickens Speedway (SC) officials announced that Saturday’s $10,000-to-win Meltdown Race will be broadcast live on the Speed51 Network.

The live broadcast from Easley, SC will be available for FREE to both monthly and yearly subscribers to the Speed51 Network.  Those who aren’t currently subscribed to the network can join today for $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year.

300x250 GPS Live Stream-02“This is really exciting news for our fans that we’ll be streaming the Meltdown live on Saturday,” said Rob Blount, Southeast Editor.  “Many people, including some racers, have told us that we should stream this event and the management from Greenville Pickens Speedway listened.  Now, people from all parts of the country who can’t make it to South Carolina can actually watch this cool race.

“I know we are making a big effort to put more live races on for our Speed51 Video Network subscribers.  Hopefully our fans can make a day out of it by watching and enjoying the Meltdown and the Winter Showdown.”

With two versions of the race in the books, the Meltdown Race at Greenville Pickens, which pays $10,000 to the winner, returns in 2018 with even more hype and star power.  Super Late Model stars such as Bubba Pollard, recent SpeedFest winner Chandler Smith and 2017 All American 400 winner Donnie Wilson will all be attempting to dethrone defending race winner Kyle Plott.

The Meltdown Race is the only Super Late Model race on the schedule at Greenville Pickens Speedway in 2018.  With an early season date, the race gives Super Late Model racers an opportunity to compete at a track they normally don’t get to visit.

Saturday’s live broadcast of the Meltdown Race will create a huge doubleheader “Winter Watch Weekend” on the Speed51 Network.  Those who subscribe to the Speed51 Network will be able to watch the Greenville-Pickens Super Late Model race and then the Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway Park on Saturday as part of their monthly or yearly subscription.

In addition, subscribers to the Speed51 Network receive access to thousands of on-demand videos including highlights, interviews, on-board cameras and more.
