The Granite State Pro Stock Series is set to wrap up a busy May at one of its anchor tracks this Sunday. Claremont Motorsports Park in Western New Hampshire will welcome in Pro Stock teams from across New England for the first of three visits in 2021.

Heading into the 100-lap race, Auburn, MA driver Angelo Belsito sits atop the points standings, having already won in 2021 at Monadnock Speedway (NH), and also coming off his first Claremont win in July 2020. 2018 GSPSS champion Devin O’Connell is currently second in points, with the Madison, CT native in search for his first career Claremont win. Center Conway, NH driver Gabe Brown enters the race third in points, while still searching for his first career Super Late Model victory.

Another New Hampshire driver, Bryan Kruczek is looking for two-straight wins on the Granite State Pro Stock Series as he and the Bobby Webber Racing team look to back up their win last time out at Star Speedway (NH).

Five-time Pro All Stars Series champion DJ Shaw will also be back in action with the GSPSS on Sunday, with the Center Conway native in search of his third win at Claremont in the No. 60. Another familiar car on track will be the yellow No. 48 Rollie Lindblad entry, which will be fielded by Massachusetts young gun Derek Gluchacki.

Kevin Casper will be the third Massachusetts driver making the trip north, as will Rhode Island’s Tyler Tomassi. Coming from the west across the Connecticut River will be Vermont’s Josh King, who is coming off a strong runner-up performance at Star Speedway.

Two of Claremont’s own hometown stars will also be in action this weekend. Luke Hinkley will once again hunt for an ever-elusive win in GSPSS competition. Meanwhile, Byron Baker will look to run with the front runners, as Hinkley has in recent races.

Casey Call, TJ Bleau, and Dave Helliwell are also on the roster for the home guard of the Granite State.

Race fans worldwide will be able to watch the Granite State Pro Stock Series live from Claremont Motorsports Park this Sunday on Speed51.TV.  The race will be available to both monthly and yearly subscribers.
