Racing is a blast during the Winchester 400 weekend. Now fans, teams will have another reason to enjoy the traditional fall weekend (October 9 – 11) at Winchester Speedway in Indiana.
Speedway officials have announced two concerts that will occur after the races are completed on Friday and Saturday evening. The concerts will be free-of-charge for all who want to socially-distance gather in the grandstands of Winchester Speedway after the races are over on both evenings.
Saturday’s big concert will feature the lead singer for country music recording artist Kevin Dedmond of Dirty Grass Soul. Demond brings a fresh sound to the music industry with a blend of Country, Bluegrass and Southern Rock. The concert is slated for 8pm.
Friday’s event will spotlight the Gene Deer Band, an American Blues, Rock and Country act. The popular group is based in Indianapolis and is featured regularly at the Slipper Noodle Blues Bar & Restaurant in the “Circle City.” Friday’s concert will also begin at 8pm.
Winchester Speedway’s invites all Randolph County residents to show our appreciation of their support of this event. Both concerts are free to the public, whether you are a race fan or not.

Sunday’s main event will be the 49th Running of the Winchester 400 presented by JEGS for some of the top Super Late Model drivers in the country.
