OSWEGO, NY – With weather forcing the cancellation of Oswego Speedway’s Fall Championship 125 until Sunday, September 20, the door has opened for former NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Ron Silk to make his Novelis Supermodified debut at the ‘Steel Palace.’
Silk will pilot the Graham Racing No. 21 Supermodified on Sunday as a substitute for Kody Graham, who cannot make the rescheduled event.
Earlier this season Silk scored a fifth place finish in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Pit gates will open at Oswego on Sunday at 9 a.m. with grandstand gates opening and hot laps beginning at 10 a.m. The day’s first heat race will go green at 11 a.m. with the program continuing non-stop from there on out.
A total of 27 Novelis Supermodifieds were in the pit area on Saturday along with 20 Pathfinder Bank SBS.
All those who purchased pit passes must return with their pit wristband and ticket for re-entry.
All those who purchased grandstand admission must return with their rain check.
General admission seating is available on Sunday for $20 with reserved seating set at $25 and pit admission being $35.
