For many years, the best in short track racing have chosen 51 Sports for their website design and public relations needs on their road to the highest levels of racing. That was proven once again on Sunday afternoon as former 51 Sports client, Joey Logano, added “Daytona 500 champion” to his resume with his win in the Great American Race at Daytona International Speedway (FL).
The Middletown, Connecticut native was with 51 Sports when he was collecting trophies on the short track scene up and down the eastern seaboard before eventually moving up to the highest levels of NASCAR. Logano has collected big short track wins like the Toyota All-Star Showdown at California’s Irwindale Speedway, and also a NASAR K&N Pro Series East championship.
Logano is the second former 51 Sports client to claim a Daytona 500 victory. Trevor Bayne was the first when he scored the win in the 2011 edition of the race.
51 Sports would like to congratulate Joey and the whole Logano family on his Daytona 500 victory.
