FK Rod Ends Short Track Driver of the Month for September

Rising to the challenge is what separates a top-notch driver from the rest of the pack. Whether it’s dominating a race, going on a winning streak or sealing a win with a late-race pass, drivers slowly rise to the top of the field and make a name for themselves.

That’s why the FK Rod Ends, who has nearly 10,000 combinations of rod ends and spherical bearings available and carefully crafts their products, is proud to honor a monthly “Team FK Driver of the Month” from the short track ranks of America on Speed51.com. Each month, an esteemed panel of short track industry insiders will vote on which driver had the most success on the track. The driver with the most votes will then be the “Team FK Driver of the Month” and will receive a $25 product certificate to use at FK Rod Ends. At the end of the 2019 season, the driver that received the most votes throughout the season will then be the “Team FK Driver of the Year” and will be awarded a (to be determined) prize from FK Rod Ends. Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five… six! That’s how many times Aaron Reutzel visited Victory Lane with the All-Star Circuit of Champions during the month of September. Additionally, his six-pack of victories during the month led him to his second straight series championship.

The Texas driver kicked his winning ways off with a win at Bedford Speedway (PA) on September 5. He then topped the famed PA Posse in one of Pennsylvania’s biggest Sprint Car races, the Tuscacora 50 at Port Royal Speedway, just two nights later.

Reutzel would be back in victory lane one week later at Atomic Speedway (OH) in the Dean Knittel Memorial, then followed it up with another win in Posse Country at Williams Grove Speedway in the Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial. He then went on to win at Hagerstown Speedway (MD) two days later to clinch the All-Star Circuit of Champions title with one race to go.

Already having had the championship won, Reutzel went on to win another All-Stars crown jewel at the 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora this past Saturday night, giving him six wins in the month of September and 16 wins on the tour during the 2019 season.

Reutzel’s dominance in the final month of his championship season in the All-Star Circuit of Champions makes him the September FK Rod Ends Driver of the Month on Speed51.com.

Other drivers receiving votes this month were: Bobby Santos, Bobby Therrien, Brandon Overton, Bubba Pollard, Derek Griffith, Jacob Goede, Jesse Dutilly, Matt Hirschman, Mat Williamson, Stephen Nasse, and Tyler Courtney.
