The five sanctioning bodies for the second Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway released their entry lists Friday afternoon.


Overall, nearly 270 cars are already entered with three weeks remaining until the highly-anticipated event, May 18-20, at the Last Great Colosseum.

For the second straight year, some of the world’s best short track racers will be competing on the high-banks of the World’s Fastest Half-Mile.  Six different divisions — including three brands of Late Models — will be in action during the three-day event. 


The five sanctioning bodies that will be represented are CRA (Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, Street Stock), CARS Tour (Super Late Models, Late Model Stock Cars), Southern Super Series (Super Late Model), ICAR All-Star Modified Tour (Modifieds) and VORES Compact Touring Series (Compacts).


The first glimpse at the entry list includes short track racers from throughout the United States, including drivers from California, Wisconsin, Maine and nearly everywhere in between.






NASCAR Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace (Super Late Models), Cole Williams (Pro Late Models), Myatt Snider (Late Model Stock Cars), Chad Poole (Modifieds), Chuck Barnes Jr. (Street Stocks) and Bo Hoelscher (Compacts) scored victories during the inaugural Short Track U.S. Nationals in 2017.


Drivers planning to compete in the 2nd Short Track U.S. Nationals are encouraged to file entries with the appropriate sanctioning body soon.
