Speed51.com’s cameras will be sweeping left and right this Friday night.  Yes, you read that correctly.  We are headed to The Painesville Speedway (OH), and for the first time our camera will be showing left and right turns. For the first time as part of Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes, a Figure 8 race and a Street Stock race will air live on Speed51.com.

The Figure 8 Ironmen division will be the feature division, and are guaranteed to put on a show like only a Figure 8 race can.

Friday’s racing action is available exclusively for premium members of the Speed51.com Video Network. Fans can become members for just $7.99 per month of $69.99 per year.

The Painesville Speedway, formerly known as Lake County Speedway, is a 1/5-mile oval right on the shore of Lake Erie. The unique part about The Painesville Speedway is the facility has concrete in the corners, much like Virginia’s Martinsville Speedway. The track is home to six divisions of racing, including the famous Figure 8 Ironmen division.

“Painesville is such a unique race track, unlike any other across the region due to its size. Painesville Figure 8 cars always put on a show for the fans, providing an opportunity for full contact, elbows-up racing,” said Speed51.com’s Great Lakes Regional Editor, Patrick Hahe. “I can’t wait to return to Painesville and watch one of the most exciting divisions of short track racing in Ohio.  These are grizzled weekly racers that have been doing this for years, and they will do anything to score a win and put on a show for the fans. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to watch a hidden gem in the Midwest racing scene.”

Speed51.com’s live stream is expected to begin at approximately 8 p.m. ET on Friday night.
