FASTRAK World Championship Payout Increasing for 2020

Carnesville, GA – Officials with Virginia Motor Speedway and the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance have announced that the 2020 FASTRAK World Championship will pay $51,000 to win and $2,051 to start. The 2020 FASTRAK World Championship will be held September 18th and 19th at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA.

“It was so successful last year that we will revisit the 50th anniversary with the 51st anniversary” said Bill Sawyer, owner of Virginia Motor Speedway.

The 2019 FASTRAK World Championship saw 113 entries from 12 states and Canada. Brandon Overton, of Evans, GA took home the $50,000 in the richest Chevrolet Performance Late Model race in the history of the sport. The 2020 FASTRAK World Championship will surpass that by adding $1,000 to winner’s share.

“The 2019 FASTRAK World Championship was historic in a lot of ways; the purse and the number of entries,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “to be able to once again have the richest race in the history of the class is remarkable, and we look for the 2020 FASTRAK World Championship to be even bigger.”
