FASTRAK Racing Series Announces Plans for Return to Racing

The FASTRAK Racing Series is ready to get back on track in June, finally kicking off its 2020 season on June 27 at Toccoa Raceway (GA).

Several events initially planned for the touring Dirt Pro Late Model series have been postponed through the first half of 2020 due to COVID-19.  While FASTRAK hopes to reschedule many of those events, they are excited to finally get on track with their 2020 campaign.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2020 season for the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance,” said FASTRAK Executive Vice President D.J. Irvine.  “We appreciate Mike Davidson and the Toccoa Raceway staff for working with us to put the first race of the season together for FASTRAK. We had two great events at Toccoa Raceway last season, and expect the same great action to launch the 2020 season.”

The FASTRAK Racing Series feature on Saturday, June 27 will be part of a two-night weekend of racing at “The Fastest 1,650 Feet of Dirt in Georgia.”  Friday, June 26 will boast features for Pro Trucks and Stock 4s, with open practice for Saturday’s racing divisions.

The FASTRAK Racing Series’ $2,000-to-win season opener will headline Saturday’s card, with Limited Late Models, 602 Late Models and Modified Streets also in action.

Toccoa Raceway hosted a pair of FASTRAK Racing Series events in 2019, including last year’s season opener. Matt Long won that race, while eventual series champion Carson Ferguson won at the track last June.

FASTRAK Racing Series will release more details regarding the season-opening event as they become available in the coming days and weeks.  Stay tuned to Speed51, the Official Video Home of the FASTRAK Racing Series, for news and updates.
