The FASTRAK Racing Series will compete on both Friday, September 3 and Sunday, September 5 at the West Virginia bullring. FASTRAK teams will also be able to compete on Saturday, September 4 in a $5,000-to-win feature for Steel Block Late Models, with points counting towards the East Coast Rumble.
The top points earner across the three nights of racing will be named champion of FASTRAK’s 2021 East Coast Rumble, receiving the signature championship belt for the honor.
The event is held in conjunction with Hillbilly 100 weekend, allowing FASTRAK teams to share the stage with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Sunday night.
I appreciate the staff of Tyler County working with us on this event” said Stan Lester in FASTRAK’s announcement. “The ‘East Cost Rumble’ belt has been a big award for our teams and this allows us to continue that tradition during this three-day weekend. It’s one of those trophies that is very unique and not one a driver gets everyday.
“Plus, racing in front of that many fans along with the Lucas Oil Series drivers is always a big thing for our teams. It will be great to see some former FASTRAK drivers at Tyler County now running Lucas Oil including Jonathan Davenport, Chris Ferguson, Hudson O’Neal, Shannon Buckingham along with many others.”
With last year’s East Coast Rumble not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Carson Ferguson is the two-time defending champion of the mini-series. Ferguson claimed the championship belt in 2018 and 2019, as well as the 2019 FASTRAK Racing Series championship.
