FASTRAK Bringing the Thunder to Speed51 Saturday

After starting the season in the Peach State of Georgia two weeks ago, the FASTRAK Racing Series now heads north to Friendship Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 11.  When the FASTRAK Dirt Late Models thunder around the Elkin, North Carolina bullring on Saturday, fans will be able to watch live on Speed51’s Summer Thunder TV.

Saturday’s broadcast is part of an action-packed lineup of events available for free to Speed51 premium yearly and monthly subscribers. Summer Thunder TV shows off racing on both dirt and pavement around the country as the racing intensity heats up.

The 2020 FASTRAK Racing Series will be conducting its second race of the season after a thriller at Toccoa Raceway (GA) to start the year.  In that race, Layton Sullivan scored his first career win in the series with a last-lap pass over David McCoy.

The FASTRAK season was originally scheduled to begin at Friendship on April 11, but that event was postponed as part of the COVID-19 shutdown of racing throughout the country.  Now the FASTRAK Pro Late Models will take on the 4/10-mile oval as the championship battle will begin to take shape.

Not only can fans watch Saturday’s broadcast with a subscription to Speed51, they gain access to the rest of the Summer Thunder TV broadcasting lineup, as well as Speed51’s massive on-demand video library.  Those videos include highlights, recaps, music videos and more from major short track racing events across the United States.
