Notes: Saturday’s race will be the seventh running of the Summer Showdown at Evergreen Speedway. In the six previous runnings, no driver has won the race more than once.  Preston Peltier, the defending winner of the race, will attempt to become the first two-time and back-to-back winner of the race.  Texas driver Chris Davidson will be making the trip to Washington for the second straight year.  Current SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series points leader Jeremy Doss will be making his first Summer Showdown start since 2015.  Buddy Shepherd will be behind the wheel of the Campbell Motorsports Super Late Model normally piloted by Derek Thorn. Northwest stars (and brother) Tayler Riddle and Owen Riddle we be a pair of drivers to keep an eye on.  A pair of Kulwicki Driver Development Program drivers — Molly Helmuth and Brittney Zamora — will be chasing the $25,000 top prize this weekend. Joe Constance, the owner of JOES Racing Products, will be making his return behind the wheel after an offseason karting accident.  Northwest racing legend Garrett Evans will be making a rare start behind the wheel of the No. 64 this weekend.
