While the Speed51 Snowball Derby Kickoff Party is getting some new digs in 2019, drivers and race fans can still expect the same great atmosphere and fun that has come with the event the past few years. Moving to the Beef O’ Brady’s location at 2101 W 9 Mile Road in Pensacola, only three miles north of Five Flags Speedway on Tuesday, December 3, the event will now be held in the shadows of the legendary track which will host the 52nd Snowball Derby December 4-8.
Race fans will be able to come on in, have a few drinks, eat some great food, and still have a chance to meet some of their favorite drivers before they put on the helmets and tighten the belts later in the week. Once again, Speed51 will be on hand to cover all the action and provide a little extra fun, with driver interviews, and even some games which have become favorites for many over the years.
The driver list is already beginning to grow for the Kickoff Party with former Snowball Derby winner Wayne Anderson expected to make an appearance. Team owner Donnie Wilson will also be appearing, as he prepares to field three cars for the 2019 Derby. Dalton Zehr, Jack Dossey III, and Johnny VanDoorn are also among the early RSVP’s.
Drivers planning on coming to the Speed51 Snowball Derby Kickoff Party are encouraged to email Speed51 Content Manager, Brandon Paul at [email protected] to RSVP. Those who confirm their attendance are more likely to get air time as we begin planning the live edition of Speed51’s “The Bullring” talk show.
There are plenty of sponsorship opportunities available for those that want to be involved with the Speed51 Snowball Derby Kickoff Party. If you want to be involved, please email [email protected]
