Fan Voting Now Open for 2020 Short Track Draft

If you could pick one young, up-and-coming short track racer to build a race team around, who would you select?

That’s the question we’re asking short track fans right now as we continue building towards the 2020 Short Track Draft on Speed51.

Our annual fan vote for the Short Track Draft is now open on the Speed51 Five Star Race Car Bodies Facebook Feed.  Short Track Draft fan voting will be open for 24 hours. Fans will be able to vote once during that time by commenting on the Facebook post. We will then take the top 10 drivers and hold the final round of voting Thursday through Monday on Facebook.

In order to be eligible for the ballot, drivers needed to meet the following criteria:

  • 25 years or younger as of April 1, 2020
  • Maintain rookie status in NASCAR’s top-three series
  • Have less than eight races scheduled in NASCAR’s top-three series
  • Competed in a short track racing event at least once in 2019

As long as your driver of choice meets those requirements, share your vote in a comment on the Facebook post.

The fan vote for Short Track Draft will also be on Twitter. Use the hashtag #ShortTrackDraft and Tweet your vote to @speed51dotcom.

The driver with the most votes will be awarded a first-place vote towards this year’s Short Track Draft. The driver with the second-most votes will be awarded a second-place vote, and so forth to create the “Fan’s Ballot.”

Send in your votes today by visiting the Speed51 Five Star Race Car Bodies Facebook Feed.
