Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) has announced that Hoosier will be the official tire provider of the 31st Annual All American 400 October 2-4.  The race track made the announcement on Thursday via its Facebook page.

The Pro Late Models will race on the Hoosier F45 tire throughout the rest of the 2015 season, including the All American 400 weekend, according to Tony Formosa, Jr., the president of Fairgrounds Speedway.

The change comes as a result of the Southern Super Series event held at the facility back in April.  Speedway officials said in a release that event demonstrated the reliability and performance of the F45 tire.

The Speedway announced on Friday that the Limited Late Models would also be competing on Hoosier tires for the remainder of this season.  The Limited Late Models will be using Hoosier 1070 as their tire.

Hoosier had been the tire provider of the Fairgrounds Speedway for many years up until recently.  Formosa said in a release that making the change back to Hoosier was a difficult one to make, but a necessary one.

“Promoters of stock car racing find it difficult to make changes,” Formosa said.  “But changes are good, once you separate the promoter/racer views and reflect on the change solely for the good of the speedway.”

Speedway officials said that tires will be on-sale at the facility as soon as Friday, September 4 in anticipation of the first event with the new tires on Saturday, September 12.
