“It was great to finally get a win for the Dunn Benson Motorsports Team, Kemp and the Lamm family this year. We have been close a few times and getting better here lately while sitting 4th in the Lucas Oil Series point standings. But our goal is to get wins, even though it wasn’t a Lucas Oil sanctioned event, getting a win with this field is still huge for us against these guys out there. I’d never been to this track before, so I’m pumped to get the win in front of a lot of people from Big River Steel that attended the event as well. It’s a big week for our team as we will stop by Big River Steel for a meet and greet with all their employees on our way to Mississippi for the Clash at the Mag in Columbus MS next weekend”, stated Devin Moran, driver of the Dunn Benson Motorsports #1 Racecar.
Next up for the Dunn Benson Motorsports Team is the three-day GEICO-Clash at the Mag-Presented by Big River Steel at Magnolia Motor Speedway on Thursday, Friday and Saturday May 30th-June 1st. The GEICO Clash at the Mag-Presented by Big River Steel will see three complete shows for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Thursday, May 30th will be highlighted by a $5,000-to-win feature as will the program on Friday, May 31st. The historic weekend draws to a close on Saturday, June 1st with a $15,000-to-win finale.
Devin Moran and the Dunn Benson Motorsports Team are currently in 4th place in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Point Standings and 2nd in the “Eibach Rookie of the Year” point standings in 2019.
